Our Annual Old Boys Concert will return on Sept 7 (Sat) at the AC Hall of the HK Baptist University!
The concert will feature performances by our Old Boys’ Wind Orchestra, Old Boys’ Choir, Old Boys’ Chinese Orchestra and Old Boys’ Symphony Orchestra. The highlight of the evening would be the last movement of Mahler’s Symphony no.1, while our young graduates Michael Yeung and Ip Cheng Xin will perform as marimba soloist and guest conductor respectively.

We proudly present to you the Old Boys' Concert 2018, which will take place on Sept 8 (Sat) at 7pm in the AC Hall of HK Baptist University.
Traipsing across plateaus in Xinjiang, China, through the neighbourhoods in Gunma & Tochigi of Japan, and along the Appian Way in Rome, our old boy orchestras and choir will walk a special musical journey with you to the New World, with tunes by Haydn, Mozart, Bernstein & others lacing each milestone along the way.

All percussion! Viva Drummers!
The first ever Old Boys’ Percussion Ensemble concert “Viva Drummers” was held successfully on 28 April 2018 at Sheung Wan Civic Centre
More than 350 guests were excited by the rhythmic performance from 17 energetic old boys and students.

Here comes our 5th Anniversary Concert!
The concert will be held on 9 Sept 2017 (Sat) at
7pm in the Academic Community Hall of HK Baptist University.
Tickets are priced at $250 and $100 with free seating at designated sections. We will be featuring the Old Boys’ Wind Orchestra, the Old Boys’ Chinese Orchestra, the Old Boys’ Choir and the Old Boys’ Symphony Orchestra.

The next movement in our La Salle Symphony
Following the success of our old boys concerts in the past 3 years, we are back once again with a cascade of melodies delightfully brought to you by our Old Boys Chinese Orchestra, Wind Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra and our first-ever Old Boys Choir!
One of the concert spotlights would be Emmanuel Séjourné’s exquisite, soul-yearning "Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra", with young old boy Ip Cheng Xin (class of 2015) being our soloist.

Old Boys' Wind Orchestra got Gold in 7th Winter Band Festival 2015
On Nov 25, the Old Boys' Wind Orchestra competed with two other local wind orchestras in the Open Division Contest in the 7th Winter Band Festival held in Pui Ching Primary School. We are grateful that we were able to deliver a good rendition of Reed's A Jubilant Overture and Sparke's Music for a Festival. In the end, we were honoured with the “Gold Award” with a mark of 81.51, and also the line “truly a very special group” by one of the judges. Feel free to visit our Gallery for photos of the event!

Highlights of this year's programme include movements from Wieniawski's impassioned and dazzling Violin Concerto No.2, with our old boy Mr. John Sit (08) being our soloist. We are also deeply honoured to have invited alumnae from St. Stephen’s Girls’ College to jointly perform with our Old Boys Symphony Orchestra on stage.
It is our pleasure to have your presence and support at our 3rd annual concert held on Sept 13 evening! Our heartfelt gratitude must go to the invaluable contribution and unremitting support from Br Patrick, Br Thomas, Br Steve, Mr Tong, Mrs Wong and Mrs Catlin of La Salle Primary School, our two conductors Mr Kelvin Ngai Lung Shing and Mr Ng Chiu Shing, current and former teachers and staff of our Alma Mater, all the old boy and student players, guest performers from St. Stephen's Girls' College Alumnae Orchestra, sponsors, parents and guests. Inauguration of new office bearers
It is our honour to announce that the Executive Committee Board of Music Board, LSCOBA 2015/2017 is now in office. You can find our new committee members here.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Old Boys' Association, Br. Steve, teachers, parents, fellow old boys, current boys and friends for their invaluable support over the past 2 years. In the future, we will strive to bring La Salle music to new heights!

The 2nd annual old boys concert, "Soundscape of Folk Cultures" was smoothly held in Tsuen Wan Town Hall on August 31, with more than 400 guests attending the event.
The Music Board, LSCOBA would like to extend our gratitude to all the old boy and student players, the two conductors Mr Kelvin Ngai Lung Shing and Mr Ng Chiu Shing, helpers, guests, and sponsors for their invaluable contribution and support.
